FAQ

Answers to common Inventory Tracker questions.

How do I start a new inventory?

Create a new inventory session and begin scanning barcodes. If camera scanning is unavailable, use manual barcode entry.

Can I continue an inventory later?

Yes. Inventory sessions can be saved and reopened so you can continue counting later.

Can I fix an incorrect scan?

Yes. You can manually adjust quantities and delete incorrect scans before exporting.

Where is my inventory data stored?

Barcode values, quantities, inventory sessions, and CSV exports are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

How do I export to CSV?

Use the export option in the app. The CSV file is then handled by the saving or sharing destination you choose.

Why does the app need camera access?

The camera is used to scan barcodes. Camera images are not stored or uploaded.

Before sending support files

Please avoid sending sensitive inventory data unless it is necessary for support. If you send a CSV file, remove anything you do not want to share.
