This policy is written in plain English for Deep Solutions Pty Ltd and Inventory Tracker. It does not claim broader legal compliance than is appropriate, and should be reviewed before commercial launch to the extent applicable.

1. Who we are

Deep Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian independent software company. This policy applies to Deep Solutions Pty Ltd and its app Inventory Tracker.

2. Scope

This policy explains how Inventory Tracker handles barcode, inventory, camera, and export information. It also covers basic contact with Deep Solutions Pty Ltd.

3. Information the app handles

Inventory Tracker handles barcode values, item counts, inventory sessions, scan history, and CSV exports created by the user. This information is used to provide the app's inventory counting features.

4. Barcode and inventory data

Barcode and quantity data stays on the user's device unless the user chooses to export or share it. Deep Solutions Pty Ltd does not currently operate a cloud service for Inventory Tracker.

5. Camera access

The app uses the camera only to scan barcodes. Camera images are not stored, uploaded, or used for any other purpose by Inventory Tracker.

6. CSV exports

Users can export CSV files through iOS sharing or saving features. Once a CSV file is exported, the user controls where that file is saved or sent.

7. No accounts

Inventory Tracker does not require an account, login, profile, or cloud sync account.

8. No advertising tracking

Inventory Tracker does not include advertising tracking.

9. No analytics or crash reporting currently

Inventory Tracker does not currently use analytics or crash reporting. This policy must be updated before launch of any version that adds analytics, crash reporting, or similar third-party services.

10. Data storage

Inventory sessions, barcode values, item counts, and CSV exports are stored locally on the user's device. Device backups, sharing destinations, and file storage locations are controlled by the user and the device settings.

11. User control

Users can create, edit, delete, export, or choose not to export inventory information. Users should remove anything they do not want to share before sending exported files for support.

12. Third-party services

Inventory Tracker does not currently use third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, accounts, payments, subscriptions, or cloud sync. If that changes, this policy will need to be updated before release.

13. Children's privacy

Inventory Tracker is a practical inventory tool and is not directed at children. Deep Solutions Pty Ltd does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

14. International users

Deep Solutions Pty Ltd is based in Australia. If you use the app outside Australia, your local laws may also apply to the extent applicable.

15. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app, website, or support processes change. The last updated date should be revised whenever the policy changes.
